Nothing lights up after you press the power button, or the computer spins up and no picture appears. The usual culprits are the power supply, the power button, the memory or the motherboard. We rule out one part after another and tell you which one is faulty and whether replacing it is worth it.
Windows drops to a blue screen, the computer restarts on its own or freezes. It tends to be faulty memory, a dying drive, overheating or a conflicting driver. We test the memory, read the drive health (SMART), check temperatures and go through the system logs.
Startup takes minutes and programs open with a delay. On machines with an old spinning hard drive, moving to an SSD makes the biggest difference; adding memory, cleaning up startup items and a clean system install help as well. We only recommend what makes sense on your machine.
The fans are audible all the time and under load the computer slows down or shuts off. The cause is a dust-clogged cooler and dried-out thermal paste. We take the machine apart, clean it, renew the paste and then check the temperatures under load.
The system hangs during startup, reports a missing file or loops through automatic repair. We secure your data first and then try to repair the system; when that is not worth it, we propose a clean install with your files moved across.
Do not switch the device on again and disconnect the power — every further attempt to start it can make the damage worse. Bring it in as soon as you can; once it is apart and cleaned, we will tell you what survived and what needs replacing.
A cracked display, missing keys, or a socket the charger no longer holds in. We confirm the exact part type and its availability; you get the price of the labour and of the part in writing before anything is ordered.

Prices include VAT and are taken from the price list on this site — we add nothing on top. The minimum charge is one started half hour. Work outside business hours (17:00–9:00 and weekends) carries a 50% surcharge. Where the price depends on a part or on the extent of the damage, we tell you in writing after diagnostics.

After diagnostics you get the cause, the proposed repair, the price and a date in writing. We repair nothing and buy nothing without your approval.
When a repair costs more than it is reasonably worth, we say so and offer to move your data to another computer instead. We would rather lose the job than your trust.
There is no call centre between you and the person repairing the computer. You call, describe the fault, and the technician tells you what can be done.
When a drive is at risk, we deal with a backup or a copy before any repair. With a clicking drive, do not switch the computer on — call us.
Claims are handled individually under Czech law. If the same fault returns within a short time, we look at it together and agree on the next steps. New parts carry the standard manufacturer warranty (typically 12–24 months, depending on the component).

It depends on what is faulty. Swapping the drive for an SSD or adding memory usually pays off even on an older machine. Replacing a motherboard or a display often costs about as much as a used computer — in that case we say so and offer to move your data to another machine.
An ordinary hardware repair does not touch your data. A system reinstall or a drive replacement does, so we agree on a backup beforehand — a full data backup up to 50 GB is from 1 200 Kč. If the computer does not boot, we make the backup here in the workshop. We access your files only as far as the repair and the test require.
We will try, but the outcome cannot be promised in advance — it depends on where the liquid got and how long it stayed there. Do not switch the device on, disconnect the power and bring it in as soon as possible. Once it is apart and cleaned, we will tell you what is damaged and what the chances are.
